Yummy pudding

Well... I told you about a not so yummy recipe in my last post, so I decided this post would be a yummy recipe. Vanilla pudding with gram crackers and chocolate syrup, in a very pleasing presentation. *Bows* Thank you for the applause *Bows* It is an easy recipe, one packet of instant pudding mix from Jello (the brand), a couple of graham crackers crumbled, and a couple for decoration and some chocolate syrup (optional) and enjoy(mandatory)!!! I am really enjoying the parentheses today!!!!

CZARNINA?!?

Or for you non-polish speakers, Czarnina is Polish Duck Soup. My grandma made it for our family party yesterday. The recipe is here. My grandma told me there was duck, prunes, raisins and vinegar in it and then it was served over potato dumplings. According to the recipe however, she left out that you add duck blood! I ate duck blood!!! And I kinda liked it... I picked out all the prunes and raisins though. I was still hungry after my minuscule bowl of soup and my grandma offered me more, but I declined, in favor of just eating potato dumplings. Although the soup was okay, it freaked me out, was a little sweet, and I found a bone. It was nice to try because it is part of my heritage, but I don't think that will happen again.

I moustache you a question...

... but I'll shave it for later. That is officially my new favorite joke. It all came about while creating skits in french. Our skit is really random.

I am a pregnant lady, Jenni is a blind person with a "dog" and Alexis is a blind delivery person. Also we basically screamed the whole entire skit.

A: Est-ce que vous pourrez appuyer sur le bouton de cinquantieme etage? S'il vous plait. Can you push the button for the 50th floor, please?
R: Bien sur! (Jenni entres) Quel etage est-ce que vous voudrez? Of course! (Jenni enters) What floor would you like?
J: Quoi? Qui a dit? What? Who said that?
R: C'est moi! It was me!
J: Vraiment?!?! Je ne savais pas! Really?!?! I did not know that!
(L'ascenseur s'arrete avec un BOOM!) (The elevator stops with a BOOM!)
A: Sacre bleu! Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est mon etage? What was that? Is this my floor?
J: Ou est mon chien? Where is my dog?
R: Tu n'ai pas un chien. Tu as un chat, et NOUS SOMMES COINES!!! You don't have a dog, you have a cat and WE ARE STUCK!.
A: PAS! Je dois apporeter les pizzas dans 5 minutes ou elles sont gratuites. NO! I have to deliver the pizzas in 5 minutes or they are free!
J: Quelles pizzas? J'adore la pizza! Wat pizza? I love pizza!
R: Mon bebe adore aussi la pizza! My baby love pizza too!
A: Vous ne pourrez pas avoir mes pizzas! You can't have my pizzas!
J: Quel bebe? Un bebe ne peut pas manger de pizza... What baby? Babies can't eat pizza...
R: Zut! J'ai perdu les eaux! Darn! My water broke!
A: Vraiment?!?! Maintenant? Je vais telephoner l'hopital! Really! Right now? I will call the hospital!
J: Tu as un portable? pourquoi tu ne telephes pas plus tot? You have a cell phone? Why didn't you use it earlier?
R: Aidez-moi! Aidez-moi! Help me! Help me!
A: Je ne sais pas quoi faire! I don't know what to do!
J: Oh... J'ai appuye sur le bouton d'arrete... Est-ce que vous voudres moi appuyer sur le bouton de commencer? Oh... I pressed the stop button, should I press the start button?
A: Si! Finalement Je peux livrer les pizzas! Of course, Now I can deliver my pizzas!
R: Mon bebe et moi sommes saufs! My baby and I are safe!

ET FIN!!! The End!

Electoral College

Currently, I am writing an 8-10 page paper on the Electoral College. I don't like it. My paper is super repetitive and it makes me seem overly patriotic. Also I am just tired of writing, so here are some cute pictures for you to enjoy!

My Hands...

Our assignment in creative writing today was to look at something and come up with 10 different images that you could find on it. I chose my hands, which was not smart. So, all day I was intently staring at my hands and eventually I was angrily staring at my hands. I know what your thinking, "didn't you just make a cartoon about mountains on your hands?" and yes I did, which is why I thought this might be easy. And it was easy, once I stopped trying to make sense and started writing random, creative thoughts. Here is what I finally figured out:
  1. There are many mountains, creating avalanches that crush your body and soul. (Palms)
  2. There is a fierce battle between the waves and the surfers, the waves ate the surfers. (Finger prints)
  3. A heartbroken centipede is desperately trying to become a butterfly, to no avail. (Scar 1)
  4. A desolate cloud is wandering towards the edge. (My fingernail)
  5. Withered crops are yearning for love and air. (My wrinkles on my knuckle)
  6. The pink confetti swirls in a tornado of joy. (???)
  7. A giant bouncy house is filled with bunnies. (???)
  8. A crater on mars (Scar #2) is erupting with Twinkies. (???)
  9. A giant talking cow is spilling my secrets and his milk. (lunch milk carton)
  10. A spidery robot is breaking out of prison. (My veins)
I think that exercise went very well.

Gosh!!!

My friend and I were hanging out and we became bored, so Hannah decided it would be a good idea for us to each write a poem then present it as a rap. Let's just say

I am not a poet
fifteen minutes have come and gone
yet i’m still sitting here staring at this
blank page, nothing in mind.

i would rather sit here staring at the majestic dust particles
circling around my head, reflecting the morning sunlight onto my parisian walls
before they complete their journey to settle on my blank page;
i should let them fill my blank page, because i cannot.

i can show my inner tiger stripes with pieces of paper
and glue sticks, creating a scene of serene chaos that is
constantly in my head, and make a splendid picture on top of nothing;
yet i can’t fill this blank page with a poem.

complex math equations that frustrate and explode brains
play a sweet melodious harmony in my head as i simplify
and fabricate the right answers filling notebook after notebook;
there is always a right answer unlike filling blank pages with words, where everything seems wrong.

filling blank pages with
numbers and pictures and me
is easy.

creating poetry on a stark mocking blank page
is not;
because i am not a poet.

St. Cloud State

Today I got to get up at 5:30 a.m. and get on a bus for an hour and a half to go to St. Cloud state and spend all day doing a very pointless lab. I am not in a good mood.

Seafood Linguine

This is what I made for supper. It is super good, well not as good as some people probably make it but still good. All you need:
  • 1 box of linguine noodles
  • 1 jar of pasta (I used spicy garden vegetable)
  • Some shrimp
  1. Pan fry the shrimp with a little garlic and butter
  2. Boil water and cook the noodles according to the box
  3. Warm up the sauce
  4. Combine and enjoy with some fresh cheese :)

Devil Dog

This is Buck, he is super mean to me. I was having a sleepover with my friends and at 6 a.m. he decided to wake me up. So, he bit my hood and forcefully pulled me in circles until my friends managed to stop him. He ripped my sweater and almost choked me. Bad dog is just no longer sufficient, so now whenever I tiptoe past him, I whisper, "Devil Dog" and continue on my way.
