R.I.P Lacie

This post is for Lacie. It's not the most interesting post, but I just need to say these things.

I know everybody dies but why Lacie? I mean you were only one year older than me and you were the sweetest nicest person ever. You were a great basketball manager and you made the best cookies. I loved how you always wrapped them in individual packages with pink cling wrap.

You would always talk to me super fast, and I could never understand you. I wanted to ask you to slow down, but you were just so cute, so I smiled and nodded and watched you talk. I wish I knew what said, I wish you weren't taken so soon. But I know you are in a better place, and you were surrounded by family when you died in your sleep. But it still hurts and I'm still crying because you are just so... irreplaceable, spectacular, friendly, awesome. You are just so you.

Lacie Bickford, rest in peace, <3 a life taken way too soon.

NAFA National softball tournament

The national softball tournament started yesterday, and so far we have lost two games and won one by forfeit, but that is okay because we are having a lot of fun, or maybe we are just really sleep deprived.

Last night after our games was the skills competition ans parade. The parade was awesome, a bunch of 16 year olds walking and throwing candy to all the younger kids. Since we didn't have any candy, our team hide by the younger kids, grabbed all the candy we could and then threw it back to them. :) we were sneaky, and really kinda ghetto.

In the skills competition I participated in the home run hitting contest. I swung and missed a few balls. Oops. :) But I still managed to get third. :) Now it is time for more games, maybe we can actually win a few.... maybe

Fashion post :)

A lot of blogs have pictures of fashion, so I went through my photos and decided to show you some of my favorite outfits and accessories!

So these are my absolutely favorite sunglasses ever. They go awesome with this bright summery shirt, but they surprisingly match a lot of my outfits.

My next favorite accessory is my winter hat. It may look dorky, but trust me, it is a good dorky. I wear it everywhere and since our school colors are red and black it matches! Win win!

This is my favorite shirt in my closet. It shows off my arms, it is super cute and comfy and I can wear a sports bra instead of an uncomfortable push up bra. :)

I guess I love accessories more than I love clothes because here is another accessory. It is super easy to use and it makes my hair look awesome and even kinda fancy.

Last but not least is my letter jacket. It isn't very fashionable but I wear it everywhere, because it gets cold, this is Minnesota. And hey! I'm wearing my favorite shirt in the picture!

Maybe I'll do another fashion post, or not. Whatever. :)

Interview

Many great blogs interview people, So that's what I'm going to do. Except I have no one to interview except myself. :)

Good Question. I really want to say fried chicken, but I don't know if that was before, so maybe jewelry. It's so pretty. :)

Fine, If I had an elephant for you, where would you hide it?

I love elephants, they are my favorite animal. I would probably hide it in the basement, because no one ever goes down there and there is a leak, which can be his watering hole.

I love cityville. It is sooo addictive and fun. I'm level 23 already. Woo-hoo!

Why am I asking you these questions?

Because I am random and weird, but I enjoyed answering them and I can't wait for my next interview.

Lake :)

To day was a beautiful day, so me and my friends decided to go to the cabin. It is on Chisago lake, and we had so much fun.

Here we are playing volleyball (my team won all 4 games):

After that we decided to go knee boarding. It's hard yet easy. I wiped out a lot, but so did everyone else.

I had a wonderful time and It's so nice that the weather finally cooled off, I was contemplating moving to Antarctica, but it is all good now. :)



Got my new camera

I don't know if I got the right camera, but I did get a camera. It is PINK! :) I love pink. So, as soon as i got my camera I had to try it out of course, and the first picture I took was of me. I'm just that conceited.

So now I can use my new camera all weekend, because my cousins from California are here. They are so cute, and all they wear are dresses. It is kinda weird, but I love 'em. But you might not like them because while they are here I won't get to post as much, because i have to entertain and babysit them. Of course, they are staying at my grandpa's house, which has no computer. And since I don't have a laptop, I'm stuck technologyless.

I'm buying a new camera :(

Why oh why did you have to die?!?! I loved my camera, but now it's time for a new one. It is so confusing to buy a camera, mega pixels, range, ease of use, and most importantly price. I don't want a super cheap one that breaks, but I'm not a millionaire.

There are so many models and features and different reviews and words i don't know and I'm kinda FREAKING OUT.  I just don't want to waste all my money and i want to take good pictures, because I take thousands and thousands of them....

Then after I find which one I want to buy, I have to find the best price and accessories and go to the store and try to find it. Ahh...my head hurts!

Music...

Every time I'm online, I'm listening to my Itunes, and it is a real mess of everything. Every one's play list is an expression of who they are, and all mine says is that I am really weird. I have all the recent top 100 songs, country, showtunes and some oldies. To show you my weird play list, I'm going to fill out this spam letter I got. :)

I can already see this movie making millions of dollars and being a number one hit, but I'm Disapointed there was no Taylor swift or one republic in my movie. Just finished my Hawii Vacation Online Scrapbook

We went over spring break. There was awesome weather and I had a great time! :) It was my mom, sister, mom's boyfriend and me. We went hiking, snorkeling, swimming, shopping, and on a boat ride! Definetly one of the best vacations.

Softball :)

We just won the Fridley softball tournament. :) I had so much fun, between games we had a huge potluck. People brought pasta salad, doughnuts, sandwiches, chips, juice boxes, and fruit. Of course, I was told to bring veggies, no one ate any of the veggies, so now I'm stuck with like an obnoxious amount of veggies. Oh well... there was plenty of food, and somebody *cough* Steph *cough* almost pucked from eating too much. :)

Our team was also selected to be on a T.V. show! :) We got to meet Ted Williams from the Minnesota Vikings! Here is Steph and me with him:

Filming the show didn't go too well.... While filming, many of us stare at the camera and look like weirdos. Also 5 of us were standing on chairs in the back row, and Michelle kinda fell off. :) She didn't get hurt, but it was very funny. Too bad it's not on youtube and I didn't film it... :(

Dark Days of Minnesota....

Right now it is 11 a.m., or is it 11 p.m. I really can't tell, It is super dark outside and all my windows have condensation on them because of the humidity. I hate humidity, it makes me sweat and then the sweat has no where to go because it is so humid. Yesterday the humidity and heat were so bad that 50 people at the twins game had to be taken to the hospital for heat stroke or dehydration. Why do I have to live in Minnesota where it can go from -25 to 100 degrees. No wonder I'm so weird. My body is confused from all the weather changes.

Still no sign that the state shutdown is going to end, but at least I was able to get my tabs for my car. Well... I made my mom go get them for me. Hey, I'm 16, I don't know how to do that, or have the money. I love my mom.

BOOM! There was just a huge lightning strike. It made me jump and hit my knee on my desk. :( Now it hurts... Gosh darn it, the weather needs to change and be awesome, so I can go to the beach with my friends.

Charlie!!!

For the last three weeks, my friend Charlie has been at a German camp. So, yesterday when she came back, Ruby, Sam, Hannah and I kidnapped her and we went to Winnie the Pooh. We all brought stuffed animals and it was just really cute. :) We were the oldest people there who weren't with children, and to make matters worse, Sam got in a fight with a four year old over whose stuffed animal was better. Sam almost pushed the kid. Who does that? It was really embarrassing,  but really fun too. It was good to see Charlie again.

My mom is now on facebook

My mom is now on facebook, and she asked to be my friend. I can't deny her, because then it looks like I'm hiding something and she will freak out on me. But i am hiding something, my friends. They post some really awkward stuff that she can now see. For example:

Some of my friends pictures (like 30) show them half naked, or in swimsuits or in inapropriate positions. On top of all that I am also my mother's only friend....

I love my state, Minnesota!

You know the saying "When the going gets tough, the tough gets going?" Well obviously my state leaders don't. They think that when th going gets tough, we should just shutdown. It is really solving all of the states problems. Debt is piling up, people are mad and nothing is getting done. Great job!

During my softball game

Yesterday was a horribly hot day... not really, I mean it only got to 95, but this is Minnesota, it should be like 60-70 degrees. Then, of course in the middle of our softball game Steph and Karleigh had to breakup. Four things wrong with that. 1) Were playing softball, and now you both are crying and pissed off! Pick a better day to do it. 2) It's Steph's birthday! Pick a better day to do it. 3)It is hot and everyone is pissed off! Pick a better day to do it. 4) I am stuck in the middle of it. But I don't complain instead I walk over to Karleigh. "Are you okay"  "Yeah" Then I walk over to Steph. "Are you okay" "Yeah" The next inning I sit next to Steph and Karleigh then yells, "Obviously were are not fucking okay, but you can't solve all of the worlds problems, just let it go!" Okay... I was just sitting here and sorry for caring about my best friends, I love both of them and I hate seeing them fight. Overall, it was just a perfect game, because after all that, we lost.... Yay!
